Desert Theatre League presented Singer/Musician Yve Evans with its 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Desert Stars Awards event in December 2007.
Desert Theatre League (DTL) applauds the many producers, theater companies, dance companies, cabaret acts and others who put on more than 100 stage productions in California’s Coachella Valley from September 2007 through mid-June 2008.

DTL’s largest effort in support of local community theater is its annual Desert Stars Awards program. Each year, DTL judges attend performances staged by producing members. This year, DTL judges had nearly 500 appointments—since DTL sends five judges to each show—to assess local productions. These range from dramas, to comedies, to musicals, to dances and cabaret shows.
